4.3 weird high idle problem. It's going to be hard to really explain what my '02 5 speed blazer is doing but i'll try to do my best. BUT.. once the blazer slows down to almost a complete stop the engine falls back to a idle. As long as i'm coasting along at a pretty good speed in neutral the engine is turning about 2500-3000 rpm though.

Drop spindles on an s10 should only be a 2" i believe most manufacturers are i know full sizes offer bigger drops on spindles, nothing i've seen for an s10. My 1998 was an S10 Blazer but my 2003 S10 is a 2WD but the Blazer was a 4x4. I would assume 4x4 to 4x4 would work fine, but I know 4x4 to 2WD won't work without some modifications such as maybe a spacer at least in the front of the S10 I didn't try it on the back. ...
